**Activities:** Preserve the rural character of West Malling and its environs, preserve local bildings and places of historic interest or artistic distiction, protect the srrounding counrtyside, eliminate and prevent bad design and neglect, encourage high standards or architecture and planning, stimulate piblic interest in good appearance and community of West Malling
