SECONDLY: 1) PAYMENT TO THE INCUMBENTS FOR THE TIME BEING OF THE BENFICES OF WEST MALLING AND LONGFIELD OF NOT MORE THAN $100 EACH IN EVERY YEAR. 2) ASSISTING BY GRANTS OF MONEY NECESSITOUS CLERGYMEN BENEFICED OR LICENSED WITHIN THE OLD DIOCESE OF ROCHESTER AS CONSTITUTED ON 2ND SEPTEMBER 1704: PROVIDED THAT NO ONE CLERGYMAN SHALL RECEIVE IN ANY ONE YEAR A GRANT OR GRANTS EXCEEDING IN THE WHOLE $1000 OR SUCH OTHER AMOUNT AS THE CHARITY COMMISSIONERS FROM TIME TO TIME APPROVE. **Activities:** Provision of support to the teaching ministry in the parishes of Gravesend and Dartford. Provision of relief by way of monetary grants to necessitous clergy in the Church of England Diocese of Rochester as constituted on 2 September 1704, and to provide for the maintenance of Doctor Plume's grave and gravestone in the Parish of Longfield.
