Activities

The Association was formed in 1958 to work for the restoration, preservation and improvement of all the inland waterways in East Anglia for the benefit of the general public. The association covers the Lincolnshire waterways, Middle Levels, the four main rivers and tributaries flowing out into the Wash, the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads and the detached navigations in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

Objects: The Preservation, Maintenance In Good Order And Improvement Of Canals, Navigable Rivers And Inland Waterways For The Use Of The Public. Provided That These Primary Objects Shall Be Carried Out And The Powers Hereinafter Conferred Upon The Association Shall Be Exercised Exclusively In A Manner Beneficial To The Public And Recognised By The Law Of England As Charitable.
