The Society aims to stimulate public interest in caring for the beauty and character of Cirencester and its environs. It strives to promote and facilitate improvements in public amenities and aspires to encourage the highest standards of architecture and urban design for the benefit and enjoyment of future generations.
Objects: 1) To Encourage High Standards Of Architecture And Town Planning In Cirencester.2) To Stimulate Public Interest In And Care For The Beauty, History And Character Of The Town And Its Surroundings.3) To Encourage The Preservation, Development And Improvement Of Features Of General Public Or Historic Interest.4) To Pursue These Ends By Means Of Meetings, Exhibitions, Lectures, Publications, Other Forms Of Instruction And Publicity, And Promotion Of Schemes Of A Charitable Nature.
