CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT 2022
I have pleasure in submitting my report on the Hall Management for the last year.
It's been a trying year but thankfully with no major disasters since covid. From none to little
income then hall has survived quite well and the bookings are now picking up.
We have been able to renew the curtains in the Main Hall. which were getting very tatty
from a very generous donation from the Wendover Parish Council.
New wall mounted heaters have been installed at the rear of the hall to distribute the heat
more evenly especially when the space is divided into two rooms.
Once again, it is with many thanks to Wendover Parish Council for their generous donation,
to enable us to upgrade the surround sound system and this is proving very popular mostly
with our regular users.
Thank you to Jan Collins for setting up our new web site, hopefully it will attract more hirers.
It was with great sadness when we heard about Tony Mogrord, who has been a staunch
supporter of the hall for so many years. He will be missed by us all, not least for his
dedication and leadership, but for his great sense of humour as well.
Finally, my thanks are due, as always, to Angela for everything she does for the hall, to Paula
for all her hard work and to both of them for their loyal and dedicated work during the year.
Without them the hall would not run as smoothly as it does.
