Kirkbymoorside War Memorial Hall Annual Report 2021
We have had a very difficult two years with the Covid pandemic severely restricAng the Hall’s acAviAes and reducing the size of the Market that we have been able to run.
We are very grateful for all the work of the secretary, caretaker and market aHendant in complying with all the extra Covid requirements. They have worked hard to enable the Hall to be used and the Market to operate whenever the ‘shutdowns’ have allowed. Despite this, it has been impossible to maintain our incomes. Fortunately, we have received grants from Ryedale District Council which have kept us afloat.
Now that we can operate fully again, we hope to rebuild our leQngs so that we can conAnue to look aRer this lovely historic building for the benefit of the people of Kirkbymoorside and surrounding area.
