The object of the charity is to provide assistance to current and former members of the Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry (now B Sqn and Y Sqn (RWY) Royal Wessex Yeomanry) together with their immediate dependants.

Objects: The Relief Of Persons In Need Who Are Either:(a) Persons Who Are Or Have Been Members Of, Or Who Have Been Attached To Or Served With, The Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry, Or Any Successor Unit Or Sub-Unit As Designated In An Order Of The Army Board Or Any Similar Authority, For A Period Of Not Less Than 3 Consecutive Months; Or(b) The Dependents Of Any Such Person(2) The Trustees May Relieve Persons In Need By:(a) Making Grants Of Money To Them; Or(b) Providing Or Paying For Goods, Services Or Facilities For Them; Or(c) Making Grants Of Money To Other Persons Or Bodies Who Provide Goods, Services Or Facilities To Those In Need.
