1.3 Charltable fvnd$
Unrestritted funds a￿ available for use at the discretion of the Members of Council in furtherance of their charitable objectives unlessthe
funds have bÉÈn designated for other purposes.
DeSIg￿ted funds are unrestriaed funds earmarked by Ihe trustees for ￿nicular future project orcommitment.
Re5tritted fund5 are sublecied to re5triciions on their expenditure declared bythe donor orthrough the tertns of an 3ppeal, and fall Into one
of two sub-classÈs'. rÈsiritted Income funds or Èndowment funds.
Endowmeni funds are subject to specific condiiions by donors Ihai th@ capital must be maintained by Ihe charity.
