**Objects:** TO BE USED AS A VILLAGE CLUB AND LIBRARY, AS A LECTURE OR CONCERT ROOM, FOR LAWFUL MEETINGS, AND SUCH OTHER PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE VILLAGE AND NEIGHBOURHOOD AT THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNING BODY.

**Activities:** In accordance with the original objectives of the 1911 trust deed, the King Edward Hall (the village hall) provides facilities for a large number of local organisations and societies for meetings, talks, social events and exhibitions, and for private hirers for social occasions. The management committee also organises fund-raising events eg the annual village run &amp; village day &amp; cinema shows. The
