InCO4￿ratiOn Act 1872 by a Certificate of Incotporation on the 14 May 1920.
Charity Registration
The charity is registered with th¢ Charity Commission pursuant to the Charities Act 2011
under charity resignation number 249165.

The general puJposcs of the trnstees are the acquiring of rea] and personal propety of any
nature by any lawful means and the holding investing and applying the sam¢ and the income
therwf and the proceeds of sales and mortgages thereof io for or tvwards charitable pury)oses
of and in Connection with the Churth of England with, OT in connection with the Diocese of
Coventy and th¢ trustees are the diocesan authority for th¢ PUTposes of the Parochial Church
Councils (Powers) Measur¢ 1956 and the Incumbents and Chur¢hwardens (Tn]sts) Measure
1964.
Deeds and Securities
The deeds and securities held on behalf of the parochial tNsts are held in parish boxes in the
strong room of Rotherham & Co.

Risk Management
The t￿Slee$ have given consideration to the major risks to which the charity is exposed and
are satisfied that, so far as the risks they have Identifi￿ are concerned, appropriate systems
and procolures are in place to mitigat¢ those risks where possible.
Annual Revfiew
At their three meetings during the year the Trustees dealt with various minut¢d items
principally concerning properties bcing disposed of or acxuired by Parochial Church
Councils. The T￿SteeS sought to giv¢ guidance and practical advice to parishes and to
ensure that p￿isheS receiv￿ professional advice in connection with all transactions. Th¢
Trustees hold some 140 properties as custodian trustee on behalf of parish tn￿t fimds. The
Trustees seek to fillfil their duties positively in accordance with their statutory role and to
carry forward the mission of the Church.
Costs
The legal, administrative and a¢¢ountancy costs of the Diocesan T￿￿te¢S continue to be met,
in full, by the Coventy Diocesan Board of Finance Ltd. The costs for the year ended 310¢
Dexember 2024 amounted to £32,700.
Finance Review
The Diocesan Trustees as a custodian body holds inv¢stments on behalf of the Parochial
Church Councils and some incurnbents and churchwardens but while not directing the mode
of inv¢stments the trustees seek to ensure that trust moneys Are appropriat¢ly invested by
parishes principally in the appTopriate accounts with CCLA Investment Management
Limited.
Reserves Polley
Free reserv¢s amounting to £4,937, being general funds, are held waiting requ¢sts for
assistance in accordance with the charitable objects of the charity or charities that may be
entitled to benefit therefrom.
Future Plan5 and Commitments
The Tn]stees will continue to conduct their affairs Consistent with their statutory dutics in a
positive manner to promote the mission of the ChurclL
Public Benefit
The Truste¢s confirni that they have refe￿¢d to the guidance contained in the Charity
Commission's general guidance on public benefit when r￿l¢WIng the aims and objectives
and in planning future activities for the year.

accordan¢¢ with applicable law and United Kingdom A¢¢ounting Standards (United
Kingdom GeneTally Accepted Accounlin8 Practice).
The law applicable to ¢hariti¢s in England and Wales requires the truSt￿S to prepare financial
statements for each financial year which give a true and fair Vlew of the state of affairs of the
¢harity and of the inc4)ming resources and application of resources of the tharity for that
period. tn preparing these financial statements, the trustees are required to..

The Trustees are responsible for keq)ing proper accounting records that disclose with
reasonabl¢ accuracy at any time the fman¢ial position of the charity and enabl¢ them to
ensure that the financial statements c4m]ply with the Charities Act 2011 and the provisions
of the trust deed. They are also responsible for safeguarding the ass¢ts of the charity and
hence foT taking reasonable st¢ps for th¢ pTevention and detection of fraud and other
I￿guIaTities.
The trustees are r¢sponsible for the maintenance and integrity of the Ch￿ltY and financial
inforniation included on the charity's website. Legislation in the United Kingdom governing
the prq)aration and dissemination of financial statements may differ from legislaiion in other
jurisdictions.

I report in respect of my examination of the c]wily'8 accounts carriol out under s¢ction 145 of th¢
Act and in carryinE Out my examination I have followed all th¢ applicable Directions given by the
CILarity Con]mission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I wnfwm that no material matt¢rs have come to my attention in
connection with th¢ examination giving me cause to believc that in any material re8pect:
accounttng records were not kept in respect of the clwity as required by section 130 of the

3. the accounts do not Comply with the applicable requirements concerning the forn and content

9 Purpose of restricted funds
Torre Trust
The T0￿e Trust was estsblishoj under a will dat￿ 13 November 1906. The income from
the capital of the Torre T￿st is to be applied in the ti￿intenanCe in perpetuity of sernices in
th¢ Church of England Mission Chape] at Langley in the Parish of Claverdon or any future
Chapel or Church which might be built in the hamlet for the purpose of Church of England
services and in the repairs of the said Chapel and the keeping of the adjoining g￿Und in

The income arising from the bequ¢st of the l*e Charles John Blood Meacham known &s The
C J B Meacham Trust has been rnandated to the Cov¢nty Diocesan Board of Finance
LiMit￿l a regIster￿1 charity, for crediting to the Diocesan Stipends Fund.
Philip Faulks Memorial Bell Fund:
Under the of Philip Faulks the Cov¢nty Diocesan Tn￿te¢S have been bcqueathed
the residue of that estate. In accordance with the wishes of Philip Faulks the legacy has
been inv¢sted in a separate fimd known as the Philip Faulks M¢morial Bell Repair Fund.
Th¢ income from that fund has been allocated to the Covcnty Diocesan Guild
of Church Bell Ringers - Bell Rq)air Fund.
Old Milvcrton Dilapidations Fund:
Following a review of the General Fund it was establisha that the rnajority of the monies
held in that fund was th¢ accumulated income from the Old Milverton Dilapidations Fund.
The income of that fund was trall8fe￿ed to the Diocesan Stipend Fund for the periods when
the benefice is full ie. there is an incumbent in post, and when the benefice is vacant the
income is direct￿ to a dq)osit acc(Junt held on behalf of the PCC.
