Th¢ trustees have given considerdtion to th¢ major risks to which the charity Is exposed and
are Satisfied that, so far as the risks th¢y hav6 identified are coacerned, appropriate systems
andpro¢¢dutts are in place to mitigate thok risks VA￿re possible.

At their three meetings during th¢ year the Tn￿te&S dcalt with various minuted items
principally cOn￿rnIng PrO￿rtIeS being disFK)sed of or acquired by ParoGhial ChuKh
Counci18. The Trustees sought lo give guidance and pracllcal advice to parishes und to
ensure thai parishes receiv￿ professional advice in connection with all tran5aGtions. Th¢
Trustees hold some 140 properties as custodian trust¢¢ on behalf of parish tru￿ funds. The
Trustec5 5Kk to fulfAI their dulles positively in ￿OrdanCe with their statutory rol¢ and to
¢arry forward the mission of the Church.
The legal, administrativ¢ and accountancy costs of the DAocesan Trustees continue to be m¢L
in fjjll. by the Coventy Diocesan Board of Financ¢ Ltd Th¢ costs for the year ended 31
December 2023 amounted to £33,000.
Finance Revl¢w
The Dio¢esan Trustees a5 a custodian body hol(ts investments on behalf of the Par￿hla1
Churth cow￿11$ and some incumbents and churchwardens but while not directing the mode
of investments the trustees seek to ensure that Irust money5 are appropriately inv¢st¢d by
parishes principally in th¢ appropriate accounts wilh CCLA Investmcnt Management
Limited.
Reserves Poliey
Free resery¢s amounting to £4,688, being 8enernl funds, are held waiting ￿qu¢Sts for
assistan￿ in a￿vrdance with the ¢haritabl¢ objects of the charity or charities that may
entitled to benefit therefrom.
Future PIpdn$ and Commitm¢nls
The Trustees will continu¢ to conduct their affairs ￿nSIStent with th¢ir stslutory duties in a
positive mann¢r to promote the rnission of the Church.
