A total of £4224.89 of financial help was given to individuals & families in need for items like clothing, furniture, furnishings, household appliances & children's equipment. A total of £1900.00 was awarded to Students in need of financial help to assisl them in their further education journey. A total of £1350 was given to 3 Organisations that support the local community lo enable them to continue their work. Section D Achievements and performance Summary ofthe main achievements of the charity during the year During the year, Dursley United Charity provided a total of £17,194.89 in financial assistan and support to individuals, families, students and local organisations across Dursley, Cam, Uley and Stinchcombe. The Charity continued to fulfil its objectives by providing practical financial help lo local people experiencing need, hardship or distress, as well as supporting education, mental health and general wellbeing within the community. Assistance was provided towards essential household and family needs, including clothing, furniture, furnishings, household applian$ and Children's equipment. The Charity also supported young people undertaking further education, helping students who may otherwise have experienced financial barriers to continuing their studies. In addition, grants were awarded to local organisations whose work benefits and supports people within the Charity's area of benefit. A significant part of the Charity's support was provided to individuals and families at Christmas, helping towards the cost of food and gifts at a time of year when household finan$ can be particularly stretched. Through these grants and financial assistance, the Charity has continued to provide direct, practical and meaningful support to the local communily, helping lo alleviate financial hardship, improve wellbeing and provide educational opportunities for those in need.
