The Glad Tidings Publishing Association Report of the Trustees and Management Committee for the year to 30 September 2023 Th¢ Association hos continued its work of publicising the Glad Tidings of th¢ Kingdom of God through the pages of the monthly magazine. Th¢ magazine continues to be read widely throughout the world with subscriptions being received from countries in Afric4 Eastern Europe and Asi4 as well as from the established subscribing countries of the UK USA and Australia. The trustees meet three times a year, management accounts a￿ prepared and the management of the charity, editorial policy and distribution matters are fully discussed, together with the identification of future risks that may affeet the operation of the charity and the proper governance of the charity within the Charity Commission guidelines The funds of the Association are strong and are invested prudently to ensure that the Association is always able to fulfil its future commitments. The trustees continue to develop new ways of distributing the magazine and have continue to invest in an interactive web-site for potentxal readers who prefer an electronic version of the magazine. Social media is now used extensively to promote the magazine. The Association has no employees, however Christadelphians throughout the world support the work of the Association by way of sub5¢ribing for the m8gazin¢ and offering volunlary service for the production and distribution lo its many readers. Independent Examiner's Report To the trustees of The Glad Tidings Publishing Association I reN)rt on the accounts for the year ended 30 September 2023 which are s¢t out on page 3 - 4. Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner The charity's tnjstees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 43(2) of the Chariti¢s Act 1993 (the A¢l)) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to: Examine the accounts (under section 43 of the Act), to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 43(7)(b) of the Act), and to state whether particular matters have comc to my attention. Basis of the findependent examiner's report My examination was carried out in accordance with General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presenl¢d with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provid¢ all the evidence that would be required in an audiL and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair, view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
