fabric of the Parish Churches of Swinbrook and Widford. The church of Asthall was subsequently included. Th¢
Costs io be in such proportions as the trustees think fit. In 2025, the objects of the charity were widened as follows..

l. The mainienance, repair and enhancement of the fabrics of the Parish Church of Swinbrook, the Parish Church of

2. Supporting the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the said e¢cle$iasiical parish of

The charity holds varLOU5 parce15 of land in the parish of Bamptort, Oxfordshire, on which it generates rental
income. Th¢ 2ncotne is a¢rurnulated in the charity and granted io meet the cost of repairs of the fabric of the Parish
ChuTches of Sivinbrook, Widford and Asthall and to support the ￿ligIouS and Charitable work of the Church of
England in the said ecclesiastical parish of Asthall, Swinbrook and Widford.
Comtnitment to Swinbri)ok Village Hall Renovation
Prior to the change in objecis the irustees had agreed to allocate £50,000 towards the renovation of Swinbrook
Village Hall, which wa$ an Original charitable object. The grant has been provided for in the accounts for the vear.
The purpose of the improvem¢nt5 IS to rnake Ihe village ha]1 usable for the benefti of the church and village of
Sivinbrook.

The irusiee$ confirni that they have had regard to guidan¢e issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

During the year the trustees identified that two parcels of land donated in prior years had not been recognised in the
financial Statements. A prior year adjustment been made to correct this omission.

and may be distributed.

The Ann Pytts Charity IS governed by a charitable trust deed dated 2nd May 1966, as amertded by sllbsequeni
scherne5 approved by the Charity Commission. The governing document stts OUL the charity's objects, powers, and
adtninistrative arrangements. inrluding the appointment and respollsibtlitie5 of trustees. The charity is registered
with the Charity Commission for England and Wales and operates in accord¥thce with its Boveming document and
applicable charity law.
Recruilment andoppoinlmenloflruslees
The tTU5tee5 5eTving in 2025 recogni5ed the need to recruit and appoint trustees who would be able to take the
Charity forward following the sale of ¢harity land foT £600,000. With this in mind four new trustees were appointed
io the charity when four of the exisiing trustees resigned their Positions.
The four new trustees bring to the charity extensiv¢ commeT¢ial skills in the area5 of inv¢51ment and finance, legal
knowledge, property managemeni and charity accounts. In addition, on¢ of the Tetiring tru51¢e$ has provi(f¢d an
extensive briefing of the hT5tory and current statu5 of the charity to the neiv irusiees.
Relationships with related parties
One tu￿¢nt trustee and one Tetiring trustee hav¢ trustee roles in related charities, and these interests have been
declared at trustee meetings and tsket) into ¢onsideration when trnstee decisions have been made. No contlict of
interest ha5 aTi5en a5 a re5uIt.
