Activities
Since 1966, The Richard Dimbleby Cancer Fund has supported people living with cancer in the UK. Today our main focus is the online national resource, cancercaremap.org. Previous projects include the work of Dimbleby Cancer Care at Guy's and St Thomas', The Richard Dimbleby Research Fund and The Richard Dimbleby Chair of Cancer Research at King's College London,
Objects: (A) To Promote The Work Of Cancer Research Either By Direct Grant To Or Remuneration Of Individual Or Individuals Engaged In Cancer Research Or Payment To Any Existing Or Future Fund Foundation Hospital Institution Engaged In The Work Of Cancer Research(b) To Provide Relief, Comfort And Support For Cancer Sufferers In Such Ways As The Trustees From Time To Time Consider Appropriate Including, But Not Limited To, (I) The Provision Of, Or Assisting In The Provision Of, Information And Resources And (Ii) By Payment Direct To Such Sufferers Or To Any Existing Or Future Fund Foundation Hospital Institution Corporate Body Or Trust Engaged In The Work Of Relief And Comfort Of Cancer Sufferers(c) To Establish And Endow Cancer Research And/or Treatment Fellowships Bursaries Or Scholarships Tenable By Persons Engaged In Cancer Research And/or Treatment In This Country Or Otherwise Such Fellowships Bursaries Or Scholarships To Be Linked With The Name Of Richard Dimbleby.
