Activities
The Society for the Promotion of Hellenic Studies was founded in 1879 to advance the study of Greek language, literature, history, art and archaeology in the Ancient, Byzantine and Modern periods. The Society maintains a world class research library and publishes internationally acclaimed journals in the field.
Objects: To Advance The Study Of Greek Language, Literature, History And Art In The Ancient, Byzantine And Modern Periods. To Publish Annually A Journal Containing Articles By Leading Authorities, Plates And Text Illustrations, Reviews Of Recent Books Of Importance To Greek Studies.
