**Objects:** THE OBJECT FOR WHICH THE CONFERENCE IS ESTABLISHED IS TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT EXCLUDING ANY OTHER MODE OF ADVANCEMENT) BY STUDYING AND PROPAGATING THROUGHOUT THE WORLD CHRISTIAN TEACHING AS IT BEARS ON SUCH QUESTIONS AS THE DEFENCE AND SECURITY OF NATIONS AND THE PROMOTION OF WORD PEACE.

**Activities:** Christians have long held widely differing views on the use of military force.  But both pacifists and defenders of &#x27;just war&#x27; are agreed on the need to search for means to reduce international tension.  CCADD provides a forum for debate and channels for dissemination of ideas and knowledge, and offers the chance to talk to well-informed people on many key areas of conflict or related matters.
