ACCOUNTING POLICIES** ## by Chari�es: Statement of Recommended Prac�ce applicable to chari�es preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Repor�ng Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effec�ve 1 January 2015) – (Chari�es SORP (FRS 102)), the Financial Repor�ng Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) and the Companies Act 2006. ## **Income** All income is recognised in the Statement of Financial Ac�vi�es once the charity has en�tlement to the funds, it is probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably. ## **Expenditure** Liabili�es are recognised as expenditure as soon as there is a legal or construc�ve obliga�on commi�ng the charity to that expenditure, it is possible that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in se�lement and the amount of the obliga�on can be measured reliably.
