OTHER PERSONS WITH A SIGNIFICANT CONNECTION TO THE LOCAL  JEWISH COMMUNITY; D. OTHER PERSONS IN NEED; AND 2.  THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE JEWISH FAITH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT,  INCLUDING BY THE MAKING OF GRANTS TO SYNAGOGUES IN THE  LOCAL JEWISH COMMUNITY.
