LA)ughton Men's Institute Trust¢¢s Report for y¢ar to 31" March 2017 Thmughout the year the Trustees have met regularly to oversee the management of the main asset namely the building in Station Road which is o¢¢upied by the Loughton Men's Club. Substantial work was carried out to the main thains al the Club which incurred large costs. The Club appears to be functioning in a satisfactory manner and membership is incre&sing. The Trustees monitor the financial position which appears satisfactory. The Trustees continue to seek local Charities who they consid¢r need fllwicial support while retaining funds for any unexpected expenditure. During the year the Trustees made a further grant to the local Citizens Advice Bureau to ￿$181 th¢m in providing debt counselling work at the Loughton Branch.
