Our library also has information on British Social History, including the Settlement's campaign for the introduction of an Old Age Pension in the UK in 1908.  Religious, social and community work among all age groups including the sick, the healthy, the physically disadvantaged, the lonely and distressed.  Free counselling and legal advice bureau available.
