## Activities

**Objects:** (A) TO PROMOTE THE STUDY OF THE COUNTY, BOTH IN THE PAST AND IN THE PRESENT, ON A NON-POLITICAL AND NON-SECTARIAN BASIS. (B) TO ENCOURAGE THE STUDY OF THE GEOLOGY, GEOGRAPHY AND NATURAL HISTORY, AND ANY OTHER PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE COUNTY. (C) TO ENCOURAGE THE DISCOVERY AND PRESERVATION OF THE COUNTY'S ANTIQUITIES AND RECORDS, ANCIENT AND MODERN. (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CONSTITUTION).

**Activities:** The Radnorshire Society is concerned with the old Welsh county of Radnorshire founded in 1930. It organises an annual programme of public lectures and excursions. It maintains an important local history archive and library and publishes its own 'Transactions', incorporating new research and archive material. There is a Field Section which co-ordinates separate talks, research and field trips.
