## **Achievements and Performance**

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|**I**n April 2021 the Hall was still closed due to<br>the world wide pandemic, and this time was<br>put to good use by having improvements<br>made to the building, in particular, improving<br>access and use for those with disabilities.<br>A ramp was built replacing the steps giving<br>access to the front of the building, a<br>pathway was built from the front of the<br>building around the side to gain access to<br>the doors at the rear, which are used as the<br>main entrance from the car park. This path<br>was to enable wheelchair uses to gain easy<br>access to the rear doors.<br>A new disability toilet was built, with the site<br>of the entrance doors at the rear moved,<br>enabling more room for the toilet.<br>Interior doors were widened to make access<br>easier for wheelchair users.<br>This has enabled a wider range of the<br>community to access the services at the<br>hall.<br>Professional services were engaged to<br>clean the carpets and upholstery.<br>In the late summer months, support groups<br>started returning to the centre, and church<br>groups started up again.<br>Many areas of the Gosport community<br>benefit from the activities of the groups<br>running in the Hall, as listed in this report<br>above - members of the community many of<br>who would not otherwise have the support<br>and companionship provided.|
