Commi&%ion.
During the pasi year. 2023. the Sisters continu1￿ to cany out th¥. work vf thc charity in the
Parish of St. Joan of Arc, and in the broader area of lslington. This illcluded visits to the
sick. elderly and those who were housebound, whose numbers are increasing year by year.
The Sisi¢rs bring spirilual. material, financial aid and companionship when needed. We

nalional. such &$ CAFOD (Catholic AgenLy for Ovcrse&q Development), thc St. Vinrent

Work in the Parish continues with the Sisiers f￿r1]lIng morc and more tasks due io thc faci
that many of the volunt¢crs arc now too frail or infirni to contsnue. The Sister working
with the Korean community come Eo the end of her 2 year ¢ontract and rcturncd to
Korea in January 2024. She has been replaced by another Korean SiSLer who will carry on
the bame pas￿[al work for th¢ n¢xl 2 years.

In 2023 several studeni Sis¢¢rs came to London ¢0 study En81ish for varying lengths of
lirne. As well a5 atiending language sch(N)15 they were also given help with their studies by
th¢ Si51ers.
It is our b¢li¢f that th¢ ¢harity will continue to be of servi¢¢ during the coming year 2024.
