1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

a. The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of

Recommended Practice for Charities Accounting, but incorporating a Statement of Financial Activities and not a Receipts & Payments Account.

b. The financial statements have been prepared under historical cost convention except for the valuation of investments which are shown at market value at the balance sheet date.

c. Unrealised gains and losses on investments are recognised in the Statement of Financial Activities.

d. Income is recognised in the financial statements when received. No account is taken of income accruing, but not yet received.

e. Grants are accounted for when paid. No provision is made for amounts allocated or under consideration by the Trustees.
2. FUNDS
The original investment only is represented by an endowment fund of similar sum. The unrealised gains are therefore unrestricted. There are no Restricted or Designated Funds to be accounted for. The sale of units in July 2023 was within the conditions of the Trust.
