TRUSTEES, ANNUAL REPORT FOR 2025
The charity is an accredited branch of The Mgther C4urtrh, The F.rst Church ot Chrlst, Scientist in B05ton, Massathusetts.
The Society holds weeKly Sunday morning seNices at 10.00 am, i)f which two per month ar• 'hybrfd', being held in
person in tne church building at IS Church Lane, Oxted, as well cs being transmitted 5imultanecusly online. Apart frorn
the hybrid Sunday mDrninF services. #ll Oiher seNice5 and meetiigs are held online only. Sunday School activitie¢ are
also offered to young people up to the age of 20 at the in-persori Sunday services. In co-operation with Christian Scien=e
Society, Sevenoaks, online Testimony MeÈtings are also held on rhe fir¢t and third Wednesday5 of each month, when
those attending have an opportunitll LO share healings and othei. experience5 resultin8 from their study Bnd practice ot
ch.ristian Stience. These Se￿ICe5 and meetings are all open to mambers of the general public and have been well
atiended and appreciated. The holding of services and testimoniN meetings online has enabled u5 to support not only
oiJr local community, but 3lso to e¥tend our outreach to those attendees who live further afield and do not have a
Convenient local church community.
The Society also maintains a Readlnq Room at 69 Station Road East in Oxted, which is normally open for use by tne
genera5 pubSic on Mondays, Tuesdavs and Thursdays (except public holidays). The Reading Room offers 3 quiet sanctuary
to the public, a wide range of Christi3n Science book5 and other .'iterature inknluding the Bible and a selection of
reftsrence books. These are all availèble for purchase, borrowing or for on-site Study.

Reserve5 Policy. Whilp the 5Dciety has not specifically earmarke(l or designated anv of Its funds as"re5erves" it is a fact
thak with a small membership, our regular charitable expenditur? generally (although not always) result5 in an annual
defiril. We are therefore dependent on a strong cash ha13nce ar.d donations to sustain the regular charitable activities
and ourposp over the lon8 term.

I report lo the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Christian Science Society (the Trust)
for the year ended 31 December 2025.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparat￿n of the accounts in
accordance with the requirernenls of Ihe Chafrties Act 20111'the Acl'l.
I report in respect of my examination of the Tru$l's accounts carried out under section 145 of the
