## **TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2022** 

Receipts of rent are up to date and we continue to receive a steady income from investments.  Maintenance of the original gifted land is up to date. 

We continue to receive a steady flow of referrals from statutory agencies including Children’s Centres, Homelessness Teams, Social Work Teams and Early Years Services.  Many of our referrals also come through direct contact with those using the St Peter’s Food Bank and through the local churches. Our aim as a Charity is to support those in need in Broadstairs and St Peter’s.  Once we have established that the referral meets this criteria, Trustees will visit to establish how best we can help. The amount allocated in gifts and grants was in accordance with the aims of the Charity.  This has included monies for school uniform, replacing white goods, providing beds and bedding for children, helping vulnerable adults furnish their new accommodation, assistance with transport to medical appointments, emergency housing repairs and emergency fuel grants. The recent cost of living crisis has exacerbated the need for people to access our services and this looks set to continue for the foreseeable future.
