Activities
The club acts as a focus at the Oxford Centre for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for social activities for the hearing impaired. It comprises a mixed social group of individuals of mature age who have impaired hearing or an interest in hearing impaired people or hearing impairment issues. It meets weekly and has activities that include outside speakers, social meetings and activity meetings.
Objects: (A) To Promote And Assist The General Good Of All Hearing Impaired People In The City Of Oxford And District By Supplementing The Work Of Statutory Bodies In Providing For Their Welfare And To Foster Their Social And Cultural Activities. (B) To Arrange And Provide For Such Activities Or Hobbies As May Be Of Advantage And Interest To Members. (C) To Do All Such Things As May Seem Incidental Or Conducive To The Attainment Of The Objects Or Any Of Them.
