I report to the trustees on my examination ol the accounts of Winifred Bamford Hesketh Almshouses for the year ended
31 December 2020, which are set out on page5 4 to 5.

As the trustees of the Charity you are ￿sponSible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the
requirements of the Charities Act 20111'the Art'l. You consider that an audit is not required for this year under section
144121 of the Charities Art 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts tarried out under section 145 of the 2011 Art and in
tarrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section
14515llbl of the Act. The procedures undertsken do nol provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and
eon5equently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a'true and fair view, and the report 15 limited to
those matters se.t out in the statement below.

examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect=

The Charity m3intsins and insurÈ5 the almshtyJsesand applies the income forthe benefftof the residents
of the almshouses. The properties have been subject toconsiderable repair and refvrfoishmentduring the
prioryear.
The Charity continues to be extrernely well supported bythe orFsrte Warden who* prirne duty is to maintain a discrete and c8rin8
overview of the residents, individual needs. while atthe satne tirne fosterin8a gÈnÈral spirit of neighbourfy g(KxJ will. The Warden
alsoworks closelyTrAryth the Trustee5 and ￿sUlts them on afiy matterthat she hÈtsÈlf cannot ￿sOlVe.
INVEsfMENTS AND FINANCIALREVIEW
Investments held are shares and deposits In the National A5￿￿allOn of ￿[n5hoUse5 Cornmon Investment
Fund INAACIFI and the CCLA COIF Challtie5 Deposit Furtd. The reason for selecting these funds are
