The Charity of Dr Jones (No241351) Secretary’s Report To The Charities Commission for year 2021

Dr Jones is a registered charity No 241351 of which the primary aim is to assist people between the ages of 16-25 living within the old borough of Pembroke and Pembroke Dock for the advancement of education and training.
Refurbishment started on two properties Ciliau Farm and Blaenrhyd Farmhouse after the sitting tenants passed away. The works will progress into 2022. The intention is to allow the tenant residing in Troed y Rhiw house to take over the farm at Ciliau Farm and re -let Troed y Rhiw.
No site visit was carried out in 2021 because of COVID19 but there were three zoom meeting throughout that year. Applications were down for grants to students for further education but support was offered totalling £9600.00.
The trustees did not hold an A.G.M. and it was agreed that all appointed officers would continue in post until 2022.
