REVIEW OF ￿Ms AND AOFIEVEMENTS
The Improvement In Fund Aalsin8 reported lastyear has been sustslned wlth E33.633 lan IrtCTease of almost IO% belng
donated to local and international good causes Thevery popular Bonfire L>vent was relaunched in November 2024 on a
new slte and although It recorded a small surplus It wlll not be repeated due to Increasln8 finanual demands and
regulatory requlrements. There belng no fijrther use for the Bonfire Reserve It ha5 been transferred to the Capttal
Reserve.
The Club's now well establoshed venture, The Christchurch LlvlngAdvent Colendfjrwas run for the fourth year In 2024.
Although not deslBned to be a malor fund ralsing eventto benefit the Cluvs Charlty. k dld fulfill its purpose of
facllkatlng events to enable local ¢harlties to ralse funds. In consequence these tharltles have benefitted to thè extent
of some £82,000 over4 years The Primrose Trust once again provided valuable flnandal support for thls prolect.
TheTrustees are satlsfied that the present polky on reserves provides adequate cover for the current level of artlvlty.
Operatlonal and flnandal rlsks faced by the tharlty are wntlnuousty assessed and are mityted as far as prarticable by
commercial insurances. The Yrustees at all ttmes seek a senslble balan￿ between the need to benefit good causes and
the need to retain suffldent reserves.
PUBUC BENEFir
The Trustees have considered the tharity Commission 8uldeJine5 on Public 8enefft and consider that by carrying out
