Notes for ANNUAL Report for Staffordshire Historic Churches Trust 2023
-
There are two main sources of income for the Trust. The investment income held up this year and were over £10,000. But the value, as expected, of the investments have decreased.
-
The second fund raiser is Ride and Stride. The total income from R & S was £8795. This was also the first year that the R & S accounting was run through the main bank, as the HSBC account was closed and transferred in June. Almost half of this was returned to the supporting parishes.
-
We did not have a main event again but the tours continued and were well attended.
-
Grants awarded were up this year. There were 8 grants totalling £14,250 and a new scheme was started helping 5 rural churches with maintenance twice a year to target gutters and other minor but important actions. This cost was £2905. This cost will be twice a year to be reviewed after 3 years.
