Trustees Report for the year ending 31[st] March 2023
Following on from Covid, members meetings have once again returned to some kind of normality and because of this income has greatly increased for the year 2022 -2023 against 2021-2022 which has enabled the Benevolent Fund to be able to support more people and local Charities in need within the Province of Cumberland and Westmorland.
Our Chairman Keith Hodgson retired from the trustees and was replaced by Barry Kirkbride, at the same meeting it was proposed that Douglas Graham Sanderson, Robert Nicholson and Lee Howard Dixon be made trustees. A Notice of this motion was given at our April meeting and approved by the full membership at our Annual meeting in June 2023.
Keith Hodgson was thanked for his leadership over the past 10 years, and Eric Holmes and Henry H. Marland auditors thanked for work.
