The Charity is managed by a Board of Trustees, the officers of which stand for reelection annually. The sole purpose of the Charity is to manage the village hall (Tiddy Hall) in Ascott-under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire on behalf of the local community.

The objective of the Charity is to maintain and manage the local community hall so that it is safe, clean and fit for purpose for the variety of users who make use of this facility.

Income is derived from renting-out the Hall, kitchen and meeting room to individuals or organisations in the locality. In addition, fund-raising events are organised and occasional donations made, in order to boost the Charity’s financial reserves.

During the financial year 2020-21, the trustees completed a planned project to refurbish the toilet/washing facilities at the Hall. Competitive quotations were received. During the financial year additional grant funds were received which totalled £11,731 from various sources, particularly Ascott-under-Wychwood

Parish Council, West Oxfordshire District Council and Garfield Weston. The planned works were undertaken in August 2020 with a total outlay of £26,314.

The trustees noted that during the reporting period, income for hire of the hall declined significantly to £4,966 as a result of Covid-related restrictions. However, the Charity was in receipt of 2 Government Covid-related Business grants totalling £17,907 which assisted in covering the various outgoings during the period.

The Charity’s accounts have been certified by an independent Chartered Accountant.
