INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF FIRST CHURCH OF
CHRIST. SCIENTIST, CROYDON {CHARITY NUMBER 238906)
I report on the accounts of First Church of Christ. Scientist. Croydon for year ending
31st Oct 2024, which are set out in the attached financial ststements.
Respective Responsibilities of the Trustees and the Independent Examiner
The charity's trustees are ￿spOnsIble for the preparation of the accounts. The Charity
Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2} of the
Charities Act 2011 (rhe 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibilty-

To follow the procedure laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity
Commission (under Section 145{5)(b) of the 2011 Act- and

Basis of the Examinevs Report
My examination was carried out in accordance v4tth the General Directions given by the
Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by
the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes
¢onsideration of any unusual Étems or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations
from the Twstees con￿mIng such matters.
