However,the trustees confirm that they||||||| ||have insured the rebuildingcost of the village hall subject to annual indexation,which||||||| ||was constructed 79years ago and extended in 2017.||||||| ||||||||| ||**General reserve**||||||| ||||||||| ||The trustees retain surplus income on unrestrictedgeneral reserve against the eventual||||||| ||requirement for longterm sustantial repair or rebuildingof theproperty.||||||| ||The market value of the unrestricyedgeneral reserve at 31 March 2025 was based upon||||||| ||the mid-price of M&G Charifund income units(£183,259)at 31 March 2025||||||| ||||||||| ||**Activities and achievements**||||||| ||The trustees make charges for the use of the hall bythe local communityto defray||||||| ||expenses and toprovide for the maintenance and improvement of theproperty||||||| ||A Montessori school uses the hall duringdaytime and a ballet dance class duringthe||||||| ||evenings.
