Balanced of all money held as at 30[th] March 2023 £5,539.32
The Trustees met on 11[th] July 2023 when the minutes of the previous meeting on 14[th] February 2023 were confirmed and signed.
£4,000.00 of the £5,000.00 grant from Milton Parish Council had been transferred to CCLA to incur a higher interest rate. £1,000.00 being left in the current account for immediate access when help is requested.
Two families had contacted the trust regarding assistance with their fuel bills and food. Food banks were already providing food for them and it was agreed the trustees should see the fuel bills and assess if assistance could be given. The families did not provide the trustees with the bills so no assistance was provided.
A piece had again been placed in the local newsletter regarding the charity and its aims and contacts.
Flyers were printed and distributed to the social housing properties in the Parish. Details were also included in the school newsletter.
The Trust was left £110,000.00 (one hundred and ten thousand pounds) in a will. This had been paid directly into the CCLA account by the deceased’s solicitor, and an acknowledgement letter had been sent.
As the Trust had over £25,000.00 in accounts, the accounts were audited.
There were di1iculties with the Charity Commission website so the Annual Return was not completed until December 2024. The accounts and Auditor’s letter being forwarded later with this Annual Report.
