Four trustees are nominaled by Brackley Town Council. seven Irustees
are co-opted by the other trustees., the Town Mayor and the Vicar of St
Peter's are ex-officio trustees for the duration of their respective terms of
office.

Ob"ectives and activities
The Charity's principal res
onsibilities are to maintain the properties in
their ownership and to oversee their cash inveslmenls. The proceeds
derived therefrom enable the charity to fulfil its ob eclives which are lo
help the community of the ecclesiastical parish of Brackley. This is done
on the following basis.. one-third is given directly to St Peter's Church to
assist wit# the maintenance of the fabric of the building, one-third is
allocated lo a Relief in Need fund and the final third is allocated to an
Education fund.

Tfustees consider all applications received on their individual merit.
Some applicants may be ineligible for various reasons.
The overarching criterion for assistance is that the recipient must be
resident with the ecclesiastical parish of Brackley, which comprises the
town of Braekley and the small nearby village of Halse.
Applications are accepted from individuals, from schools, clubs and
organisations. Olhers may be received via local healthcare
professionals, via local Churches, via housing associations, via local
Money Advice Officers.

Achievements and performance
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity
during the year
Annually the charity divides its income into three parts. One third is
granted directly to St Peterfs Church for assistance towards the
maintenance of the fabric of the building. This year, that sum was
£10,000.
A second third is transferred into our Relief in Need 'pot" During the
year some of the grants awafded wefe..
To a disabled individual to enable the provision of a motorised
scooter which has helped their mobility and, equally importantly,
their mental health in that they can now get out into the
communty and is no longer isolated in their own home,
While goods were purchased for a homeless person who was
able to move into their own accommodation. Small purchases of
second-hand furniture were also made. This individual has made
extensive subsequent conlribulions to the community.
Donations were made to the local food bank so that non-food
items could be purchased for distribution to those in need
Cash gifts were distributed to a number of older residents at
Christmastime
Funding was given lo a local youth group towards a summer
holiday project, and the Feoffee grant was given from both Relief
in Need and Education
Financial help was given to assist in providing transport for a
child, who is a principal carer, to access support services on two
occasions. Financial help was also given to the parent lo assist
wilh travel to access treatment for cancer
A grant to a local support group which concentrates on isolated
individuals
The year's allocation to the fund was distributed wilh a small amount
being laken from historic reserves
The final third goes into our Education fund. Grants were made to six
local schools and pre-schools.. these were principally lo widen the offer at
the school to become more inclusive and also to offer outdoor activities to
help with physical and mental health. Additionally, two individual granls
were made lo students going on overseas educational expeditions. and
further funds were made available to a local family lo help with some
special non-mainstream educational provision. Again. the year's
distribution was "overspent. and some was taken Irom histotic reserves.

The charity ailns to maximise benefit from its assets.. our four properties
are let oul at full market rent and our COIF investments are carefully
monitored. The increase in income enables the charity to accommodate
more people in need. An equitable balance be￿een investment in
properties and cash investments is maintained.

I rep(Trrt to the trust¢es on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the y¢ar ended 30 September
2025 which are Set out on pages 7 to 9.
Respective Responsibilities of Trustee5 and Exatniner
The chariry trustees are responsiblt for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of
the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act"). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under se¢ti(Trn 145 of tlie 201 l Act and in carrying out my examinaiion, I have followed the applicable Directions
given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5Mb) of the Act.
Basis of Independent Exatniner's Report
My exaTnination wa5 carried out in a¢¢ordance with general directions given by the Charity Commission. An
Exatnination includes a revi¢w of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with those records. It also includes ¢onsideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts
and 5eekin8 explanations from th¢ trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not
provide all the evidenc¢ that would be required in an audii, and consequently. no opinion is given as to whether
the accounts present a'trne and fair, view and the report is limited to the matters set out in the 5tatemeni below.

STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES. RESPONSIBILITIES
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustee's Report and the financial statements in accordance with
applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards.
The law applicable to charities in (England & Walesl requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for
each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and ol the incoming
resources and application of resources of the charity for that period. In preparing these financial statements.

for taking reasonable steps lor the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
