THE LUCY DERBYSHIRE MEMORIAL HOMES CHARITY NUMBER 237837 ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDING 28[TH] FEBRUARY 2025 

The charity is administered by the trustees comprising:

Clerk to the trustees Mr Chris Martin 

The object of the charity is to provide housing for the elderly in reduced circumstances, the complex is comprised as follows: 

Derbyshire House Apartments 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 

Brendon Road 7 + 9 + 11 

Wollaton Road 344 + 344a + 346 + 346a 

Derbyshire Crescent 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 10 + 11 

The Charity employs a full-time gardener who has the benefit of free accommodation at 15 Brendon Road (within the memorial homes) 

The charity also has a part time Clerk / Site Manager who is responsible for the accounts, banking and day to day running of the charity. 

During this financial year we have carried out a huge uplift on all the properties which includes full electrical testing, asbestos surveys and energy performance certificates. This has come at a cost but has put the charity in a extremely good position moving forward. We have also had to replace 5 gas boilers which has future proofed  the properties 

During this financial year we have also lost the chairman (Mark Robinson) and the treasurer who have left for family reasons
