We have<br>been pleased to receive new and returning<br>visitors.<br>Public Lectures by UK and US members of<br>the Board of Lectureship were sponsored<br>around the time of the Commonwealth<br>Games events taking place locally in July<br>and August.<br>We have continued to hold in person and<br>virtual meetings to enable those outside the<br>local area to participate in services.|

Total income for the period<br>amounted to £66,588 with the most<br>significant contributions coming from<br>bequests (£48,532), rent (£9,900), and<br>donations (£3,797). Additional income was<br>generated through grants, sales from the<br>Reading Room, and premises-related<br>activities.<br>Total expenditure for the year was £23,788,<br>covering key operational costs such as<br>outreach (£5,908), Reading Room salary<br>(£9,953), and utilities (£2,462). Other costs<br>included materials, subscriptions,<br>consultancy fees, and IT-related expenses.<br>The financial result for the year was a<br>surplus of £42,800.<br>These reserves provide a strong foundation<br>for the charity's ongoing activities and<br>ensure its ability to continue delivering<br>services in the future. The trustees will<br>continue to monitor financial performance to<br>maintain stability and align spending with the<br>charity’s objectives.|
