TRUSTEE’ S ANNUAL REPORT AND ACCOUNTS 2024
CAPEL BETHLEHEM PORTHYRHYD
T he Trustees and Deacons of Capel Bethlehem Porthyrhyd have the responsibility of co-operating with the minister, The Rev Aled Maskell, in promoting weekly religious worship, pastoral, social and ecumenical care.
In 2024 we had 37 members all contributing to the running of the chapel. Services are held every Sunday morning at 09.45 unless otherwise stated in the Annual Report distributed at the beginning of each year. This Report will also present members with an account of the church finances.
During the year we joined with the Baptist Union appeal to raise money for Zimbabwe.
We also joined our sister chapels for combined services during the year and held events such as a Strawberry tea, Harvest and Christmas celebrations.
Money was spent on tuning the piano and general upkeep of the chapel and cemetery .
The deacons and minister hold meetings regularly and arrange the following year’s diary in preparations for the following year.all meetings are recorded and signed by the secretary and minister.
