The trust moved the endowment inv&%tment from Brewer Mnd Dolphin to the COIF Ethical
Investment fvnd. The total portlolio valuc takcn into a￿Ourtt the movement declined by
£23367 the tnj.st incnme increascd from £23365 to £31514 the in¢re&se being exclusively
b¢ing from invcstmcnt income from the p)rtfolio.
Tutal expenditure irkcreLsed from £32130 to £34651 the majority of the increase being in
resp¢rt of thr various grants made.
This led to an exLess vf payments over rw¢ipts of £3137 compared to £8503 in the
prcvious ycar.
Due lo tbe change in the invcstmcnt portfolio. there is now a ¥ubstantial deposit account
Iso with COIF amounting to £105334 additionally the l.loyd5 bank account ha5 a balance
of £17315 compared to £29338.

As the Charity's Tn)stees you are r¢sponsibl¢ for the preparation of the accounts, you
¢onsidpx that the audit requirement of section 43(2) of The Charitics Act 1993 (The
Charities Act) does not apply. It is my responsibility to state, on the basis of
procedures specified in the General DiT¢ctions given by the Cl￿rIty Commissioners
und¢r section 43(7)(b) of The Charities Act, whether particular matters have come to
my attention.

My examination was carried out in accordance with thc General Directions given by
the Charity Cotnmissioners. An ¢xamAnation includes a review of the accounting
records kq)t by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts prc5ented with those
records. It also includes consideration of aoy unusual items or disclosuT¢S in th¢
