Objects and activities of the charity
The purposes of the charity as set out in its goveming document.
The Charitable Trust's objects are to further the observance of orthodox Judaism,
to encourage and support the advancement of Orthodox Jewish Religious Education,
to establish all inslilulions required by an orthodox Jewsh community and any other
charitable activity.
The main activities undertaken in relation to those purposes during the year.
The policy of the Charitable Trust continues to be to support these activities as follows..
11 The trustees own several buildings including a synagogue hall and ritual baths. These are
used constantly by the Community members.
21 The Trustees employ a Rabbi and various supervisory officials to ensure that the
highest standard of religious requirements in all spheres of Judaism is achieved
and maintained.
31 The Charity operates a charity fund voucher account, the surplus in which, is used
for its objects.

The trustees consider that the perfomiance of the charity this year has been
satisfactory. It has been able to fund its various activities and distributions as
indicated in the SOFA. There were no changes in its activities.

Financial review of the position at the reporting date, 37 August 2025.
The charty provided Shechitsh and Supervisory seNi¢es during the year which produced an
inwme of £169.648. Donation and subscriptions received during the year were £1,786.322. Gift
aid of £428,337 was re¢eived from the charity's wholly owned $LJbsidiary companies, Teslbell Ltd
and Erez Imanchesterl Ltd.
The charity paid out charitable grants lotalling £1,454,507.
The charity spent £193,061 on communal services which induded the cost of running and
refurt)ishing the Mikvas. Maintenance of religious buildings, including security, was £259.188
Rabbinical and Supervisory Services were £391,099.
The cost of Management and Adminislralion was £133,451.
The charity's surplus for the year was £238,087 (Previous Year £56,945).
The results of the ¢harity'S $LJbsidiaries are shown in the account$.
Funds available are sufficient to permit the Trust lo continue in operation in the medium lemi.

Policies on reserves.
The Iruslees a￿ayS wish lo retsin income to provide for unforeseen ¢tsnlingen¢ies
and the amounts retained will fluctuate from year lo year.
The amtsunl of distributions made in any period wll lake into account the necessity lo have these
reserves available in accordance with the Trustees policy.
The amount tsf reserves lo be held is reviewed annually.
Going Coftcern
The Iruslees consider that the going concem basi5 of accounting in the preparation of the
financial 51alemenls is appropriate for a period of al least twelve months from the date when the
financial 51alemenls are aulhorised for issue and that there are no material uncertainties due lo
the discretion in making grant5 and maintaining adequate reserves.
Avallablllty and adequacy of assets of each of the fun(ts
The board of trustees is satisfied that the charity's assets are available and adequate to fulfil its
obligations in respect of each fund.
The majorrisks to which thg Charity is ￿PoSed and reviews and systems to mitigate
them.
The Trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed, in particular those
related to the operations and finances of the Trust. These risks include macro economic factors
governing the whole economy that could expose tenants and thereby pul value of the investment
properties at risk with the associated knock on effect wlh lenders covenants. Additionally, the
charity may be exposed lo interest rate increases with reference lo loans and their repayment.
The Iruslees examine the major risks that the charitable trust faces each financial year
when preparing and updating its budget. The Charity has developed systems lo
monitor and control these risks to miligale any impact that they may have on the charity's future.

The charitys trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the
terms of the Charities Act 2011 and the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008.
No￿lthstanding the explicit requirement in the extant statutory regulations,the Charities
(Accounts and Reportsl Regulations 2008, to prepare the financial statements in accordance with
the SORP 2005, in view of the fact that the SORP 2005 has been withdrawn, the Trustees
determined to interpret this responsibility as requiring them to follow current best practice and
prepare the accounts according tc) the FRS 102 SORP (Statement of Recommended Practice for
Accounting and Reporting by Charities) 2015, las amended by the Bulletin issued in October
2018 and applicable to all accounts'ng periods beginning on or after 1 st January 20191, (The

In particular, charity law requires the Trustees, if they prepare accounts on an accruals basis, to
prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of
affairs of the charity as at the end of the financial year and of the surplus or deficit of the charity.

The Trustees are also responsible for maintaining adequate accounting records which disclose
with reasonable accuracy al any time the financial position of the charity and which are sufficient
to show and explain the charity's transactions and enable them to ensure that the financial
statements comply with regulations made under the Charities Act 2011. They are also
responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for
the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
