Section C Objectives and activities To further the relief of poverty by the provision of homes with a maximum of two residents per property not less than 50 years of age Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document In planning our activities for the year we kept in mind the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit at our trustee meetings. With the death of one male resident we have 10 remaining residents benefitting from the work of the Trust. Inspections of boilers and gas safety checks were carried out to all properties. Other minor but essential repairs were carried out as required. All inspections, checks, and repairs have been undertaken in a Covid-secure manner following Government and PHE advice. Certain planned maintenance has been deferred as a result of restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main Whilst taking into account the age of these properties and the nature of achievements of the charity the construction, these dwellings have been maintained to a high during the year standard to provide comfortable living for the residents. ; Clerk to the Trustees has continued to make regular visits to all of the residents and been available to any resident by telephone between visits. This regime has provided timely advice to Trustees of any matter requiring attention enabling repairs to be dealt with efficiently. More importantly, maintaining these visits and contacts has provided valuable support to some of the more vulnerable residents. These visits have been undertaken in conformity with relevant Covid-19 advice issued by HMG and PHE.

Section E Financial review 

Cash held in the Barclays Community Account at 30" June 2021 was Brief statement of the £80,999.97 in unrestricted funds. The balance held is available for future charity’s policy on reserves improvement works, including those items deferred during the pandemic, in addition to ad-hoc maintenance and repair that may become necessary.
