In the year ending 31 August 2025 the main activities that the choir has undertaken have included:

Weekly rehearsals for the choir members, learning and improving our understanding and appreciation of choral music.

Three musicianship workshops, helping the choir understand musical form and how choral music developed.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

Extending the range of our repertoire to include and help promote contemporary composers.

Performing to the public in four concerts during the year:

Dona Nobis Pacem: An a capella concert featuring sacred and secular music from a variety of composers at St Gabriel’s church, Pimlico in October 2024

Christmas concert: A concert featuring Christmas music including audience participation at St James’ church, Piccadilly.

A performance of the St John Passion by JS Bach at St James’ Church, Sussex Gardens in March 2025.

Deer’s Cry: An a capella concert featuring sacred and secular music from a variety of composers at St Peter’s Church, Eaton Square in June 2025.

Across all concerts we estimate that we performed to 650 audience members and our ticket pricing is designed to encourage younger people to experience choral music.
