Objects: To Relieve Either Generally Or Individually Persons Resident In The Area Of Benefit Who Are In Conditions Of Need, Hardship Or Distress By Making Grants Of Money Or Providing Or Paying For Items, Services Or Facilities Calculated To Reduce The Need, Hardship, Or Distress Of Such Persons: Provided That In Applying The Income Of The Charity Preference Shall Be Given To Persons Qualified As Aforesaid Who Are Or Have Been Fishermen And Who Are Infirm Or Are Not Less Than 55 Years Of Age And To Women Who Are Widows Or Unmarried And Who Are Infirm Or Are Not Less Than 55 Years Of Age.
