The Trustees piesent their report along with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended
31 March 2025. The financial statements have been prèparÈd in accordance with the accountln8
policie5 Set out In note I to the accounts and comply with the charity's trust deed, the Charities Act
2011 and the S¢aternent of Recommended Pratti¢e.' Accountina and Reportin8 by Charities IFRSSEI 2015

The Trust was consituted by Deed of Trust dated 31 January 1964 and15 8o¥efned under thè terms of
that Deed. The Trust is rnana8ed by a Board ol Trustees who afe responsible tor the strate8ic direction
of the Trust and establishing poli¢y. The Board of Trustee5 meets 3 lime5 a year or on )ny other occaslon
as Trust matttrs require.
The Trustees hold the Trust Fund to apply the income and capltal thereof In such manner as they shall
in their absolute discretion think fit foi all or any of the followin8 purposes:.
The pieseryatlon. repalr. malntenance. Imprt)¥ement. upkeep, beautification and re<onstructlon of
churches in the United Kin8dom and of momuments, fittings. fixtures, stained glass. fvrniture, ornamènts
nd chattels in such churches, and of the churthyard bdon8ln8 to suth churthes.

Trustees are aware of the requirement placed upon them by the Charities Art 2011 to demonstrate
compliance with Section 4 dealing with'public benefit" The Trust's alm falls wlthin two deflnltlons of
charitable actlvity. the advancement of religion and the ad¥anc@mÈnt tsf herita8e. On each ¢ount, the
Trust povldes benefits to the public Benèrally. The direct bènèficiaries ol the Trust's support are the
parishes and con6re8atlons thai are responsible for thurches. chapels and mèttin8 houses in
Leicestershire or the Dits¢ese ol Leicester. The Trust ralses rnoney for the resioratlon and impfovement
of chur¢hes, chapels and meèling houses which are used for Christlan worshlp and makes no
dlscrimination betweèn denominatSons. Appli¢aiions for grants are supported by wrltien appllcatlons
U51n8 a standard online form and are evaluate¢l by the Gfants Adminlstrator before consideration in
detail at a meetln8 of the Trustees. Applications are sornetimes reviewed during visits to the scene of

4. The Trust does not consider applications for redecoratln8 lex¢ept where this is necetsary followln8
repair51. or lor school or other ancillary bulldlnBs. The TrLtst does not normally support
Improvements that require an extension.

revlewed and taken steps tts mitlgate the major risk5 to the Trust and an annual revieA* of risk so as to
ensure that the measures taken are adeouate.
