£10,000, were m8de during the year. in accordance with our charitabl8 objectives.

Royal Patronage
His Majesty King Philip I has gra¢iously granted his patronage to the Royal Belgian Ber￿Olent
Society for a period offive years to December 2024.

The Trustees are responsible for preparing accounts for each financial year which give a true and fair

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the
Charities Acl 2011 {"Ihe Act'l.
Th8 charitws trustees consider that an audit is not r8quired for this year under Sectlon 144 of the Act
and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsiblltty to..
- examine thg accounts under section 145 of tho Act,
to follow the applicable Dlrections given by the Chaiity Commission under section 145151(b) of the
Act, and

My examination was carried out in accordance with g8neral Directions giv8n by the Charity
Commission. An examination indudes a remew of the accountlng records kept by the charity and
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also indudes consideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning
any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required
in an audit and, consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'lrue and fai
view and the report is limited lo those matters set out in the statement below.

- the accounts did not accord wth the accounting records,. or
the accounts did not comply with applicabl8 requirements conceming the fomi and content of the

the accounts give a Iruè and fairt view which is not a matter Gonsid&red as part of an independent
examination.
