Activities
The objective of the Trust is the relief in cases of need, hardship or distress of persons who are either pensioners or past or present full time or part time employees or their dependants of Prudential Plc or of companies whose ultimate parent company is Prudential Plc.
Objects: The Object Of The Charity Shall Be To Prevent Or Relieve Poverty, Need, Hardship Or Distress Of The Following Persons (Hereinafter Referred To As Beneficiaries):(a) Persons Who Are Or Were Current Employees, Former Employees Or Pensioners Of Prudential PLC Or Of Companies Whose Ultimate Parent Company Is Prudential PLC (Formerly Known As Prudential Corporation PLC) Up To And Including 21st October 2019;(b) Persons Who Are Employees, Former Employees Or Pensioners Of M&g PLC Or Of Companies Whose Ultimate Parent Company Is M&g PLC; (C) In Exceptional Circumstances, Such Other Person With A Connection To M&g PLC Or Prudential PLC Or Of Companies Whose Ultimate Parent Company Is M&g PLC Or Prudential PLC As The Supervisory Board Determines By Special Majority Of 75% Of The Total Number Of Members Of The Supervisory Board In Office For The Time Being; And(d) The Spouse, Civil Partner, Cohabitee, Widow, Widower, Child Or Dependent Of Any Person Falling Within Clauses 5.1 (A) To (C) Above.
