RESPONSIBILITES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
The Trusttts are responsible for preparing the Trustee5 Annual Re￿>rt and financial
statem¢nts in accordance with applicable law aDd United Kingdom Accounting
Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
The law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the Trustees to prepare
financial State￿ellts for each financial y&4r, which give a true and fair view of the
state of affairs of the charity= and of the incoming resources of the charity for that
period. In preparing these financial statements the Trustees are required to:
* Select suitable accounting tK)licies and apply them consistently.
* Observe the methods and Principles of th¢ Charities SORP.
* Make judgements and estimates that a￿ reasonable and PDJdent.
* State whether applicable accounting standards have I￿en followed. subject to any
material departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements.
Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate
to presume that the Clwity will continue in operation.
The Truste¢s are responsible for keeping prO￿r accounting recor(L% and disclose with
reasonable accurdcy and time the financial wsition of the charity. and enable them to
ensure that financial statements comply with the Charities Act 2011. the Charity
(Accounts and RewTrrts) Regulations 2008 and the provisions of the reasonable steps
for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
